How to connect Kashif to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex
You can connect Kashif to an AI assistant and ask it about your own Kashif results. This post gives the steps for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, and for any other app that can use an MCP server. They are the steps the AI tools page in your account shows.
What you need
A Kashif account with a business in it. AI tools is a feature of your plan.
Open AI tools in your account to start: if your plan includes it, the page opens; if it does not, the page does not open. The plans are on the pricing page.
What the assistant can read
The assistant gets five read-only tools: your businesses, the scores of one business with its history, its findings, one finding in full, and links to your finished reports. Findings that your plan locks show as a count only.
It cannot change anything and it cannot start a check. It cannot see your billing, your Google data or your competitors. Report links open only in a browser signed in to Kashif.
The text of your website's findings reaches the assistant. Keep your assistant asking before it runs commands, and only connect tools you trust.
Sign in, or use a key
Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor and Codex can sign in with your Kashif account, so they need no key. Claude Code, Cursor and Codex can also use a key. The Another app card needs one. If the page shows only keys, follow the key steps.
You make a key on the AI tools page. Give it a name, pick the tool and how long it works: 30, 90 or 365 days. Kashif asks you to confirm first, with your current password or with a sign-in link sent to your email (open it, then make the key within 15 minutes). You can have up to 5 keys.
A key starts with ksh_live_… and the real one is longer. It is shown only once, so copy it then and keep it somewhere safe. You can revoke any key on the page, and it stops working at once. Changing your password, or being signed out everywhere, ends every key and every connected app.
Claude
On the AI tools page, open the Claude card and press Add to Claude. Claude opens its add-connector dialog already filled in. Press Add, then Connect, and allow Kashif. No key needed.
Claude Code
Open the Claude Code card. Run this in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user kashif https://kashifaudit.com/mcp/account
Then type /mcp and choose kashif to sign in. Already added Kashif in Claude? Sign Claude Code in with the same account and it is there.
ChatGPT
There is no ready-made button for ChatGPT, so you add the connector by hand. In ChatGPT, add a connector with the URL https://kashifaudit.com/mcp/account and choose OAuth. No key needed.
Cursor
Open the Cursor card and press Add to Cursor. Cursor asks you to confirm. Then press Connect in Cursor and allow Kashif in your browser. No key needed.
Prefer a key? Open "Or use a key instead" on the card and make one, then press Open in Cursor. Cursor asks you to confirm, and the key is saved in Cursor on this computer. That link contains your key, so do not share it.
Codex
Open the Codex card. Paste this in a terminal, then sign in to Kashif when the browser opens:
codex mcp add kashif --url https://kashifaudit.com/mcp/account
If no browser opened, run this:
codex mcp login kashif
No key needed. "Or use a key instead" on the card makes a key for Codex.
Another app
Another app that connects to an MCP server with a key can use the Another app card. Make a key there, point your app at https://kashifaudit.com/mcp/account, and send the key in the Authorization header as Bearer followed by the key. It looks like Bearer ksh_live_…, with your own key in place of the dots.
Two things to ask
- What are the three most urgent fixes for my site?
- How has my full-check score changed?
Kashif reads your website, and the assistant reads Kashif. Kashif does not promise rankings, and the assistant cannot change your site: the fixes are still yours to make.
